Halloween Watch Volunteers Needed
Gail Sillers is
looking volunteers to help out the watch. This has become a real Walden
Woods tradition. It’s a wonderful way to
help make Walden Woods a great place for trick or treat activities for the
children and nice way to meet your neighbors. Help insure our kids have a safe Halloween
this year. Please call Gail at
652-3342 for more information.
Lots Adjacent
To Walden Woods
Brian Holden reports that the
lots at the two Walden Woods entrances are actually not part of Walden
Woods. The back lots have been certified
to be build-able. This puts a buildable lot on the corner of Walden Woods Way and

Billing Delayed
The
computer that manages the billing for Folsom Lake Mutual Water Company has met
its demise, so your current bill will be delayed. You will most likely receive a bill for a 3
month period when the computer is replaced.

Meeting
The Lake
Mutual Water Company Annual Meeting will be in November or December. At this meeting, we will elect a new
board. The water company board is
comprised of neighborhood volunteers. We
are looking for people to serve on the board.
Board members meet on a monthly basis (see WW web calendar for dates and
times). If you are interested, please
contact Alan Johnston at 652-2088.

private woodland. You can find on the
web a map of trails

Walden Woods
Garage Sale
Here’s
the hassle-free way selling off all the extra stuff you’ve accumulated over the
years. Stephanie Kenney is
preparing for the annual Walden Woods Garage Sale. The Home Owner association will pay for and
place advertising in the local papers and Penny Saver. Several close neighbors often join together
so they share the time sitting out with the merchandise or just share time
together.
Date: Saturday,
October 12th
Time:
Stephanie
has made the signs, but would like find volunteers to help put them out Friday
afternoon. If you can help or need more
information, please call her at 652-5025.
While
not required, it would be helpful if you could reply back to let us know if
you’re thinking of being part of the Garage Sale – just to get a rough
household count.

Architectural
Reviews
The past year has been an active one for
improvements in Walden Woods. Thirty-two
(32) projects, representing approximately 25% of the Walden Woods homeowners,
have been submitted and approved since September 2001. The types of work have included new pools,
house painting, re-roofing, new and reconstructed decks, patios, and porches. The list also includes new sheds, concrete
work, fencing, tree removal, windows, and various new or renovated landscaping
projects. The full list of projects is
attached.
Thanks are in order for all the members of
the Architectural Review Committee for their many hours of volunteering their
time and efforts to making this process effective and expedient: Gail Sillers (former
chair), Dick Immekus, Brian Holden,
